Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gantta ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Gantta
• Business accounts may have additional terms and conditions
• By using the Service, you represent that you have the authority to bind your organization (if applicable)

2. Service Description

Gantta is an AI-powered meeting assistant that provides:

• Meeting recording and transcription services
• AI-powered action item extraction and analysis
• Automated follow-up and tracking (Chaser Bot)
• Project management tools (Kanban, Gantt charts)
• AI-powered slide deck generation and presentation export (PPTX)
• Integration with Slack, Gmail, and meeting platforms

Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security and password confidentiality
• One account per person or organization (unless authorized for team use)
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes or in violation of any laws
• Record meetings without proper consent (see Section 5)
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Abuse or excessively use API resources
• Circumvent security measures or access controls
• Use the Service to build competing products
• Share account credentials with unauthorized parties

Violations may result in immediate termination without refund. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details.

5. Recording Consent

⚠️ CRITICAL: You are legally responsible for obtaining consent to record meetings.

• Two-Party Consent States: In states like California, Florida, and others, ALL participants must consent to recording
• One-Party Consent States: At least one participant (typically the recorder) must consent
• International Laws: Comply with local recording laws in your jurisdiction
• We provide consent notifications, but you are legally responsible for compliance
• Failure to obtain proper consent may result in legal liability and account termination
• We are not liable for your failure to obtain consent

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of your content (meetings, notes, data). By using Gantta, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your data to provide the Service
• Store and transmit your data as necessary
• Generate transcriptions and analyses

We do NOT train AI models on your data without your explicit consent.

6.2 Our Property

Gantta owns the platform, software, trademarks, and all intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Subscription and Payment

7.1 Plans

• Starter: $9.99/month or $99.99/year — 200 AI credits, 300 min transcription, 3 team members
• Growth: $19.99/month or $189.99/year — 600 AI credits, 900 min transcription, 5 team members
• Business: $30.00/month or $369.99/year — 2,000 AI credits, 2,700 min transcription, 20 team members
• Lifetime Deal: One-time payment — permanent access with enhanced monthly allocations

All paid plans include a free trial period. Trial length is set at our discretion and may change. See pricing page for current details.

7.2 Billing

• All prices are in USD
• Billing cycles are monthly or annual (as selected)
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Free trial requires a valid payment method — you will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before
• No refunds except as required by law
• Price changes require 30 days' notice
• You can cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your current billing period
• Credit top-ups are available for additional AI usage beyond your plan allocation

8. AI Credits and Usage

• AI credits are consumed for actions such as meeting summaries, action extraction, chaser emails, slide deck generation, and AI chat
• Credit consumption varies based on content length and complexity
• AI credits reset monthly and do not roll over to the next period
• Slide deck generation costs 1 credit per slide; slide editing costs 1 credit per edit
• Fair use policy applies — excessive or abusive usage may be limited
• We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts with abusive usage patterns
• Growth and Business plan users can bring their own OpenAI or Anthropic API keys

9. Data Ownership and Deletion

• You own your data and can export it anytime
• Data is deleted 30 days after account closure
• Some anonymized data may be retained for legal/accounting purposes
• Backup data may persist for up to 90 days
• We recommend exporting important data before account deletion

10. Third-Party Integrations

• Gantta integrates with Slack, Gmail, Zoom, Teams, and other services
• You are responsible for complying with third-party terms of service
• We are not liable for third-party service failures or changes
• Integration tokens are stored securely and can be revoked anytime

11. Warranties and Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

• No Accuracy Guarantee: AI-generated transcriptions and analyses may contain errors
• No Uptime Guarantee: We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• No Data Loss Protection: You should maintain backups of important data
• No Liability for Missed Meetings: We are not responsible for missed recordings or lost data

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption
• These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Gantta harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Recording meetings without proper consent
• Your content or data
• Your infringement of third-party rights

14. Termination

• We may terminate your account for violations of these Terms
• You can cancel your account anytime
• Upon termination, your access ends and data is deleted after 30 days
• No refunds for terminated accounts
• Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply

15. Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: [Specify jurisdiction - e.g., California, USA]
• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration (except where prohibited)
• Class action waivers apply where permitted by law
• You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or service notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

17. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement
• Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive it
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent
• GDPR/CCPA: Additional rights may apply under applicable data protection laws
